PLEASE NOTE: It is VERY important for students to have already mastered vowel teams in 1-syllable words, as well as closed, open, silent e, and r-controlled syllables BEFORE moving on to vowel team syllables. Students MUST have adequate knowledge of syllable division patterns such as VC/CV and V/CV.
